Made from a cashmere and wool blend loden cloth, this classically attractive Ulando Car Coat combines understated elegance with exceptional tailoring. Details are minimal so as to keep the Ulando a great every-day wear coat, but as is typical of Schneiders, the tailoring is unsurpassed. Like the popular Ulrich and Uland before it, the Ulando has flattering vertical lines. The Ulando differs in that it has less dropped shoulders than the Uland, the buckle is wool rather than leather so it blends in more when under collar. But like the Uland the Ulando has the slightly tapered in cut, giving a wider shoulder look and bringing in the waist. A fully-hidden zipper lies behind the top button closure when added protection from wind is needed. As with all Schneiders Salzburg coats, all fabrics are specially manufactured to withstand winter's wet, cold weather. The Loden wool is a blend of 80% virgin wool and 20% cashmere to wick away moisture and retain its shape for years and years. Handsome Amaretta collar allows versatility and converts to being worn fully closed with under collar detail shown or open for added style at the neck. When worn up, collar can be closed with the buckle for added warmth and shows off the back suede trim panel under the collar. Make sure to flip it up at least occasionally to show that this is no ordinary car coat. Fully lined in silky black. Definition seams down back and sides.
